we love our boomerangs. we make them with waste wood we find around the harbour. Each one helps us care for country and to helps revive the old ways.

Made from a ply sheet we found at Novotel Darling Harbour that had an air condition engineering layout on it.

Every one is  different, all are lacquered and many have the artist's handprint in blue ink.
Each one is 44cm minimum tip-to-tip. Only 16 made. Each is numbered with heritage information and throwing instructions.

Made unique, this has been fibre-glassed for strength, coloured with Western red ochre and lacquered.

Made from 7mm marine ply found floating under ANZAC bridge this big 78cm tip-to-tip boomerang for right-handed people flys beautifully. It is coloured with western red ochre, decorated with real gold leaf, white and red dots and is finished with lacquer. Because of its size it is reinforced with fibreglass for strength.  Tested for flight and comes with heritage information and throwing instructions.

Made from a Queensland-made cafeteria tray found at Pyrmont fish markets. Because the wood grain is so nice we kept this simple.  Only 4 made. Each has been tested for flight, is numbered and comes with heritage information and throwing instructions.

Made from ply found under Wentworth Park Greyhound track, we fibre-glassed a red gum leaf onto the wing and hand coloured the wood with blue pigment on the front and charcoal on the back before lacquering it. It's 49cm from tip-to-tip, spins very fast and flys high.  Tested for flight and comes with heritage information and throwing instructions.

Made from a piece of ply found under ANZAC bridge, this is a big one-off 82-cm tip-to-tip boomerang for left-handed people. We reinforced the wings with fibre-glass and decorated it with blue trim, glossy lacquered and gold glitter.  Tested for flight and comes with heritage information and throwing instructions.

6mm weathered marine ply salvaged from near ANZAC Bridge. Each boomerang is around 42cm tip-to-tip and is decorated with genuine gold leaf, blue acrylic, white and green dots, lacquered and individually numbered.
